The Main Objective of Christian Service Agency
- To undertake effective programme for the progressive development of all mankind towards the society of Justice, Peace and Dignity for all.
- To assist in or undertake studies on matters related to life and witness of the Church in India.
- To undertake relief, rehabilitation, development program among the needy, irrespective of caste, creed or colour or in collaboration with others through compassionate service, both in emergency and normal course.
- To undertake effective programs for the progressive development of all mankind towards the society of Justice, Peace and Dignity for all.
- To mobilise resources of voluntary agencies and to coordinate their efforts for advancing the development of the country through social action; to serve as an agency for assisting voluntary agencies in their efforts to respond to human need and to further cooperation among them.
- To cooperate with other agencies, central and state governments in projects contributing to the social, economic, industrial and agricultural development of the country.
- To initiate and assist community development programs.
- To undertake emergency relief work for victims of flood, fire, famine, earthquake or other disasters.
- To assist in resettlement and rehabilitation of displaced persons and repatriates.
- To receive, store and distribute among the needy, gift supplies including food, medical supplies, clothing equipment and materials.
- To initiate and administer programs for providing better nutrition to children and adults primarily through schools and other established institutions.
- To mobilise, train and deploy voluntary workers for service projects through student organisation
