This workshop emphasized the foundational principles of Panchayati Raj and the role of Gram Sabha in deepening grassroots democracy. Key inputs were provided by Rev. Dr. Asir Ebenezer and Mr. Haridas Ranade (BDO), focusing on election processes, roles and responsibilities, legal provisions under the Maharashtra Gram Panchayat Act, and leadership formation. Group discussions helped identify challenges and mobilization strategies.
